Uber Air in Dallas

Today the news announced Uber Air will start operations in Dallas by 2023. Flying no pilot air vehicle flying in class B. What could go wrong with this plan.

Especially since all of the places they might stage a platform will be near some very busy bits of airspace.

I could see Austin as a launch city, but Dallas is going to be rough uphill sledding.

I could see the FAA having major issues with this. Somehow, I doubt there will be approval of this type of system in just three years.

Then there's the minor issue of making a certified VTOL aircraft. If they start on it tonight it might be approved by 2023.
