He's donating it to a museum in New Zealand. How would a tax donation work? Does he have income in New Zealand?I suspect that he'll appreciate the tax deduction from that donation. Probably get more for the tax deduction than he would for selling it.

I read one of John Travoltas interviews. He jokingly said he acts so he can afford to fly....
I guess being a movie star helps feed his addiction to flying.
Probably depends on whether he cares to have another plane like that or not. Really there's not much need for it, but he could probably fit a 757 if he was interested. Me, I think I'd go Gulfstream.
Sounds as if he might be interested in one of these....
That first pic I posted above shows a jet on the left side. Might be a Gulfstream? He had a G1 or 2 a few years ago. I took off one day at JFK right behind him. I was going to Timbuktu, he was going to Paris.
I had thought he had a Gulfstream. If he's looking for a cool old airliner, maybe getting a Connie or the like is the way he'll choose to go. Who knows...
Probably get something he can find a sponsor for like he did with the 707.
They didn't pay him. He said that it's too expensive to maintain, so he bartered with Quantas to become their ambassador to promote the brand in exchange for maintenance on his 707.That would be the way to go if he could. I would wonder how much Quantas paid him vs. what he put in for the 707
FYI; someone we know reportedly picked up his newly purchased Cirrus from that airport a few years ago.
