I'm not sure if this has been posted or not.:

Medal of Honor recipient Bob Howard dies at 70.

Dec. 23: Howard, the only man to be nominated for the prestigious award three times, eventually received the honor from President Richard Nixon in 1971. NBC’s Brian Williams reports.

Amazing man. I woud have loved to have met him.

Amazing to say the least.....wow! Thanks for posting.

There are so few of those heroes left. It would be an honor to meet each and every one, to give them my thanks and deepest gratitude for their sacrifice.

Why can't today's youth know these REAL heros instead of Michael Jackson, et al?
Why isn't his name on the tips of their tongues instead of the ridiculous people they fawn over today?

Because the media doesn't follow around the real heroes. :frown2:

Thanks for posting.

He's dead but he's still alive? How does that work?
