Tony and I were friends on Facebook. I read he passed away a few days ago. Very sad. I know he was active here....thought others would want to know.

Ugh.
Wasn't old, late 50s maybe?

Pancreatic cancer complications according to his Facebook page. Wish I would've heard...memorial service was yesterday :( RIP.

Damn, talked to him a few times on the phone.

RIP Tony

RIP. He contacted me last year about possibly trading planes. Nice guy. I didn't know he was sick.

R.I.P. Tony. Shocked and saddened to hear this. Had lunch with him a couple times when he was out here in Palm Springs. We talked Comanches quite a bit. Hadn't spoken to him in at least a year. Condolences to the family. :(

:sad::sad::sad::sad:...

I kinda wondered why he didn't post any more...

Life is short.. have fun while we are still here....

Tailwinds fellow pilot...

Damn!!:( I always enjoyed our conversations on here and the red board, I had no idea he was sick! RIP Tony!

Damn. We spoke on the phone about business now and then when he needed help. Always like talking to him. Tailwinds my friend.

Thanks for posting that CPA. I, like others, had not seen him active on the internet boards and missed his input. We take too many things for granted. Life is a short and uncertain.

A good and generous man. For a time when we were both looking for Comanche's, we corresponded via pm fairly frequently. Never met, but I'm sure it would have been a pleasure.
Sorry to hear of his loss.

If I remember correctly, Tony spoke often about the proficiency of his beloved Cherokee 140. He had me convinced that the cost of owning a certificated plane could be reasonable. My deepest condolences..

Sorry to hear about Tony.

Pancreatic cancer, does not take long. My company has a new radiation therapy device, I have been working with an oncologist who wants to use it to treat pancreatic cancer. I've learned a lot about the disease over the last few weeks. Its ugly.

My grandad got dizzy and fell one day. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, gone 6 weeks later. He was 60.

That's terrible news. My condolences to the family.

My brother died of pancreatic cancer. It is a bad way to go.
Condolences to Tony's family and friends.
Tony held strong opinions and stated them forcefully. He was more active a few years ago than recently, I believe. He made an inaccurate and unsupported observation about me some years ago and when I communicated with him by PM he deleted his message. I appreciated that.

It is later than we think. I was wondering why he hadn't posted here or on FB. So sad. Cancer is a horrid disease. I just upped my donation to the cancer society. My grandfather died of stomach cancer.

That's too bad. I enjoyed his posts here, and on AOPA. Way too young.

I'm sorry for your loss, but you may be blessed it was so sort. My mother in law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at 49, and died in nine months. It was an ugly nine months.

My condolences to Tony's family.

Like Rosanne Rosanannadana said, "It's always something.":( Big guys don't usually last very long, and Tony was a big guy for sure.

Always liked reading his views on the red board. My dad was taken by the same cancer a couple of years ago and we lost my aunt yesterday..... damn.....

My best to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear. RIP Tony.

Condolences to the family, he always offered good advice on the boards about aircraft ownership. May his family honor his life and celebrate.
