You’ve been banned! ;)

Yep, working again for me too

I like and use tapatalk, but the server errors they have like the one above are horrendous.

true. luckily, for me, I have never seen this one before and it's mostly been pretty solid for me.

For some reason, I get that one pretty regularly. Sometimes it’s minutes at a time, sometimes as long as a day. I *think* it may be dependent on the forum host server as it seems to happen on one particular forum I participate in (not POA) a lot more than others.

I’ve also seen that error kill access to all the forums in my list.

anyone else getting this error in tapatalk for PoA today?

Tapatalk just sent out a "you need to fix this on your server" for one of my other XF sites. I assume they broke something and they're blaming the site admins.
I've not had a chance to look at the issue yet.

all other forums are working in TT as of now, maybe it hasn't hit those yet, who knows...

I can get the subject lines, but I get the CURL errors mentioned above when I try to actually read the posts. Apparently, I was wrong. Whatever TAPATALK was complaining about for my other site doesn't seem to be this problem (my site works fine).

Checking tapatalk support it looks like there may be a later forum plugin update (one came out in May) that may help.

I hate Tapatalk. With a passion. It’s an enormous pain because I have to hack it every time I upgrade it to keep it from popping up for all of the mobile users browsing the regular (totally mobile friendly) site.

I’ll either take a look at upgrading it or uninstalling it.

bump

anyone else having issues with PoA on tapatalk? same error the OP is getting........

I'm curious if this affects others as well -- there is no newer version of tapatalk this time, so I'm wondering if this is on the tapatalk side or the PoA side.

I'm still able to access all other forums on tapatalk. last time it started with PoA but made it's way to all the other forums as well. this time I haven't had any issues with the other ones. was any upgrade done on the PoA side?

Only in October, at Jason's hands. Nothing since.

I'll scratch around in the logs to see if something makes itself obvious :)

I wasn’t able to get in via Tapatalk for a day or so. In the last hour it started working again.

Web login was fine, though.

Old thread, but I’m having this issue on my iPhone again today. Odd thing is that my iPad is fine.

On iPhone, all my forums (a whopping 4 of them) throw the same error.

This morning I simply removed the app from my iPhone and re-downloaded it from the app store. It’s working now. (probably just jinxed it)

Fracking computers...
