I always post yearly about Sun and Fun and here are some takeaways and this is my opinion on the event:
#1. It felt like I didn't see too many airplanes in the sky like in previous years. 4 Years ago the Light Sport market was booming and there were a lot of airplanes in the sky not so this year.
#2. Population was as good as ever a lot of people attended this year which was great.
#3. Mooney seems like it's disappearing I didn't notice them until I was going to ice cream. They didn't have big signs this year and I almost overlooked them.
#4. The bigger airplanes, twins and turboprop parking was very bare this year even on the Saturday
#5. I've fell in love with the P51 again.
#6. I tried a Philly "Cheese steak" from one of the tents and it sucked. They need to get better food options out there, (Other than the Doughnut stand). Bring some food trucks in or something.
