Sterile Cockpit What Sterile Cockpit

I gave you a thumbs up to pass along to your wife but if I could give a thumbs down to you for being on facebook, I would. :p
What is this FecesBook you speak of? Some new fad the dumbazz kids are doing nowadays? See, when I was young, the only "face book" was the year book. And how did we turn out, huh?
Now get off my lawn!!! :D

FWIW, I too will show this to the wife and I am expecting the same reaction (my wife is actually cool).

I dunno - she was a bit chatty, but that video was edited. I took my daughter on her first flight and she sat in the back. It was a cold, winter day, and she didn't say much at all. I kept asking her if she was OK, and she'd nod her head. After we landed, I asked how it went. She said she was cold - turns out a rear vent was blowing right on her the whole time. I asked her why she didn't say anything, and she said she figured it was normal and didn't want to seem like a complainer. For passenger comfort I'd prefer them to speak up so I can do something about it or explain what's happening, rather than have them be uncomfortable and think it's supposed to be that way and then never want to fly again.

She is the AOPA "Pinch Hitter" of all pinch hitters.

"I don't like wobbly"

This video is the funniest thing I have seen since Daniel Tosh last week.

Facebook is fun. It's here to stay. Get over it.

Pretty much. Nobody cares if anyone likes it or not. ;-)

Plus the local aviation photography group (closed group) posts there and they're a lot more prolific than even the best photo threads here, barring perhaps the air to air threads recently. 500 members all shooting photos, there's some pros in there also -- it's total airplane porn every day.

Bless my mate. I had a minor (pilot) malfunction on takeoff yesterday. She helped me put it back on the ground safely. I considered flying a solo test hop before proceeding but it was clear she is more of an asset in the cockpit than not.

Love that woman!

My wife (also a pilot) and I strive to be pretty professional (we try to take John and Martha's lead). I've flown with both extremes. I flew with one couple who screamed and criticized each other's flying all the way around the pattern. I've also flown in the back seat taking pictures during a formation flight with a husband-wife duo who had the best CRM I've ever seen, even among the "professionals."

LOL. "John and Martha".

Was talking to a local DPE here a few days ago and he said the new ACS standards have a lot of "John and Martha "in them.
