New formula: Tire R Squared.
 
Probably went flat at altitude (slow leak) and atmospheric pressure caved it in like that when the airplane descended.
 
Much to heavy on the brakes.
 
Very efficient for stacking spares.
 
That would make for an interesting post flight.

I have a friend who managed to flat spot an airbus WHEEL (not the tire, the wheel). He has it in his garden now.

When I first saw that, I actually thought of those new square wheels that came out for skateboards to improve traction.:p
