Spike is a big boy today

thanks, alll -

Clear skies, indeed! We need 'em to get out of OSH to fly home to Dallas, where it will be 106* - just hoping for the fog to lift enough, at the time of our slot.

Happy Birthday, big boy. :D

Wave as you fly over the farm on your way home. Have a great flight!

We don't care what everybody says about you, we think you are one swell guy! Happy Birthday Spike!

Happy birthday, Spike!

Happy Birthday Spike! Are you going to a restaurant for dinner tonight? :ihih:

Happy Birthday, Spike. Restaurant or FBO vending machine for that special meal today? :ihih:

Funny, my happy birthday post from this morning went missing, I wonder why.

At any rate, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope it's a fun one. Don't do anything you can't remember.

Happy Birthday, Spike, esq!

Thanks for being one of the good ones.

Happy Birthday, Spike. May there be many more!

I almost missed this, I hope you have a great day, or had a great day. As I think I might be a day late. Even that is good for me to be just one day behind.

Enjoy your Birthday Spike! Hope you gto to fly the Bo ore whatever single malt is available. :D

We were able to use our slot just fine, made it home in no time flat, one stop. I could get used to twin flying... bad thing, since I cannot afford!

---

Stopped at Moberly, MO for gas (must be about the cheapest gas in the universe at $3.39), saw a sad sight- a C-47 had landed there with a blown jug (or more than one?). Sad sight.

Dinner tonight? We ate fajitas, cooked on our grill. Using charcoal again, so much better than gas.

OSH was so much of an experience, I'll be digesting it for a good long time.

Awww, so I guess you missed out on the experience of strangers singing "Happy Birthday" to you. :D

Oh, I got that this morning from the folks at whose home we rented rooms in OSH!

I could get used to twin flying...

It is addictive, that I can state with certainty...

Although a Bonanza goes faster than the Aztec burning less fuel, just not with quite as much cargo capacity.

Happy belated B'Day, Spike! It was great seeing you at OSH!

Indeed, I was privileged to see the delightful Leslie and you, as well - only too disappointed that logistics precluded my attendance at the PodaPaLooza. Next time at OSH (and Oh Yes, there will be a next time) I will not allow myself to be transport-less if staying outside the grounds.

And a belated happy birthday to the big boy! Sounds like you enjoyed your day!

Did you negotiate a permanent pass for OSH as part of your birthday package?

So, since you didn't fly your plane to OSH, I will assume you will be flying it into a certain 2600' grass strip in 30 days or so.
