"Flight Simulator" actually implies something you probably don't intend it to mean, unless you're talking about a $20MM+ sim. If you're asking for an Aviation Training Device (Basic or Advanced) which can be used to log 10 or 20 hours towards your instrument time for an IR, then those are pretty easy to come by. If you're looking for bang for the buck, I would do 10 hours in a BATD and another 10 hours in a AATD.
Motion is largely useless (because it's poorly implemented in most AATDs). For gauge fluidity and control fidelity, I'd try to find a place with a Precision Flight Controls sim. Their yokes are to die for, you will not find anything better in that market.
