So, you think you can ride

I was just expecting that to be another guy who does tricks, but that might just be the sickest rides ever!!:yes::hairraise:

I've done a lot of that stuff on a bike. The difference was that he knew when he was going to do it and how he was going to stop doing it when the trick was over.

:rofl::yes:

That was SERIOUSLY impressive. Great find.

Wonder how many times he busted his butt practicing. Looks like he's practiced alot!

I've always been of two minds on these sorts of things. Yes, the fellow was quite the virtuoso, lots of practice no doubt. But none of that will keep a rider out of a crash or make them one whit safer on the road. I rode without a crash for 25 years without popping a single wheelie or stoppie.

I am always distressed by the young riders who get hurt and destroy bikes trying to emulate such individuals. They drive insurance rates up on sport bikes something fierce. I've ridden for decades and never paid more than a hundred dollars for insurance. Most of the insurance companies tried to rape me up the six to insure my sport bike.

I've actually seen him in person. He ranks with the best, but there are a lot of very good pro stunnas in my area.

What the heck am I doing wrong? I can't get my baby GS to do any of those things.

It's not even worth thinking about like that -- what he's doing is a sport and has nothing to do with riding on the street. Lots of those guys won't even ride on the street.

Gixxer should be able to do all that.

Any bike can, this guy is good, but there's others as well. The stadium thing makes it pretty boring because of the limited amounts of stunts and speed. The dude who used to wheelie entire race tracks on his Kz 1300 six cylinder was pretty interesting too, but all this sport bike stunting stuff is just lame when you compare it to an ISDT (International Six Day Trials) event. When that dude climbs that bike on top of a 8' diameter sphere and rides it around backwards, then he'll have some meat on the trials guys. Most trials bikes are 125-360cc.

I quit riding on the street a long time ago.

We do fun stuff now.

Most competitive stunt bikes are geared to low too be good street bikes anyway.
