I am in Birmingham (kbhm) and rent from there and Shelby (keet). I will not likely be able to take time to fly but I may try and stop by KPDK this next week as I will be going right by there. May be able to at least get a view of some different planes.

Hey, anyone near me that wants to show off their bird sometime, let me know.

So, just thinking, how would something like be? Not going to run out and try and buy it, but just curious if something like this would be okay for first plane? Could carry 4 people if needed...IFR training, low engine time. I know these burn a lot of fuel - so that could be a negative..
