On my signature, I entered a link to a website that creates an image to show what states I have flown in. When I first created this signature, it would display just fine. Now it shows a picture icon with a red X through it. What do I need to do to get the image back in my signature? Can I get the image back in my signature?
 
You'll need to download the picture and upload it to an image hosting site (imgur) and then put that in your signature. There are two "what states have you flown to" sites. This one doesn't work with our image proxy...the other one does.

EDIT: This one works like you want it to. Make the map and drop in the link and it'll work with our image proxy...

I just generated one for you and dropped it into your signature...you should be all set.

There is another forum that I belong to that had a similar issue lately. Are the companies that host forums like this changing their rules? Just curious...

We moved our site to be 100% SSL recently. When we did that we had to begin pricing images that weren't being served formal sites or our users would get security warnings. For some reason the site that you were using isn't compatible with our image proxy.

I'm not doing something right. Selected states, then download map, then copied and pasted into my signature.... what am I doing wrong?

I used to store some of my message board photos on Photobucket. A couple of months ago Photobucket changed its rules and no longer allows linking to photos unless you buy their $400 annual subscription. I canceled my account. :mad:
 
I transferred to imageshack.com. It costs $19/year, but it is superfast and no ads. "Cheap, fast, good!" All three!!

That was taken by my father, who was very into 3D photography........with "probably" his Bell and Howell Stereo Vivid camera. The reason I am a pilot today is probably because of the numerous airline trips he took me on in the 1950's.

Just updated my map. Anyone know why it still has the tag for the [ I M G ] and how to remove it?

Can you do that for me, too, only with a Super Cub in a hangar right behind my house? I'll take care of insurance and gas.

If there is an [I M G] tag at the end of your entry in the signature, remove it. Normally an image has an [I M G] tag before and an [/I M G] after. If there is an extra [I M G] tag, it's showing up as text.

Can’t get the epgsoft map to embed in my signature page,any ideas?

My map is saved right here on my tablet. Your software seems to want to download it from somewhere on the interweb. Any idea how to upload it from right here where I'm typing?
 
Way too many people can't make the photo thing work. I am one of them. The instructions are not helpful.
 
If I can upload a picture to the board, why can't I upload a picture to my signature page?
