Severe wx where?

I received notification that an amazon shipment is being delayed due to severe weather "in that area".
It was ordered Wed with a promised delivery of today. The promise was one of the featured selling points in the ad and very important to me. I have been casually scanning national weather and don't recall any severe wx - did I miss it? Or is it a 'shipping bait and switch' they are playing? I cannot be sure where "that area" is, but it must be the conus.

Mid-Atlantic and part of New England. And it looks like the Gulf Coast of Louisiana. Last night was bad, and I suspect things are going to get worse out here tonight, but it's not too bad yet.
