My iPad is acting squirrelly and I might have to send it off to be fixed. But I’m paranoid about privacy. Do I need to delete all my saved passwords and login info? Do I need to give them the password to unlock it in the first place? I think they can replace the battery without having to unlock it but what if they need to troubleshoot other stuff? I’m not sure if it’s a hardware or software problem.
Anyone sent an iPad to be fixed? To Apple or some third party and what do you do about security?
