See what was at #1 on the day you were born

I was born on the day Stalin died and on that day all music was #1 :)

Damned chart doesn't go back that far. :dunno:

I was born way before electricity and around the time fire was discovered and the wheel was a distant dream......

Only song back then was a crude redition of brontosourus blues diddy.. ;)

Paul Anka, "Lonely Boy" (in US and Canada); in Australia, it was "The Battle of New Orleans" by Johnny Horton ("Well, they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles, they ran through the bushes where a rabbit wouldn't go...")...

---

Bill, "Telstar" was a one-hit wonder, very early electronic music.

Not likely. Electricity has been around before the Earth formed.

Btw, my birthday has a song I've never heard of but does have a video...go figure. This before there were videos. I don't get it.

Well, mom loved the radio and sang along with it. She would have been hearing:
#1 was Judy Garland "Over The Rainbow"
#2 was Kate Smith "God Bless America"
#3 was Glenn Miller "In The Mood"

To which I say, God bless mom for being in the mood and dad for sending her over the rainbow.

If I move back 9 months prior it was
You must have Been a Beautiful Baby
Thanks For The Memories
Jeepers Creepers

I'll let the smart alec comments slide :D
