Searching FlightAware for A/C type

How do you search for a certain type of a/c on Flightaware, let's say you wanted to see a bunch of....DC-3s in order to see what GS they are typically getting?

I don’t think you can search by aircraft type, but you can search by type in the FAA database. Then pick a few N#s and look those up in FA.

Type desired A/C in box at the right.

Of course they won’t appear on FlightAware if they’re just flying around 1200.

Easy way: in a google search box, type just two things, like this:
flightaware c172

Of course they won’t appear on FlightAware if they’re just flying around 1200.

If they are ADS-B, they will appear even when squawking 1200 and not in contact with ATC
