SE MEETUP- February 24 Lunch @ The Flying Machine (KLZU)

Which date is better?

Nothing planned yet, and at least for me, the rest of this month is pretty busy. What club in Knoxville? I knew a guy that used to fly out of Skyranch along the river.
 
All I know is that I’m going flying today. Not sure where I’ll end up around lunch time but hoping to grab lunch somewhere. If I fly east probably BQ1. If west probably FQD. Maybe even stop at HKY. No idea. Anyone else flying today?

we've been talking about hitting up Calhoun's near KDKX but that's not much of a 'flyin' for you lol

We’ll probably not have another get together until after the KY Dam Fly-in. As eman said, we’ve been thinking about DKX, but may broaden our horizons so you can fly to it. ;)

No, but current plan is to be at BQ1 tomorrow for lunch

Some of us have to work! But I'm hoping for a sunset flight tonight.

I joined the club at skyranch. I’ve got a friend that flies out of there and they’ve got pretty good airplane rates.
 
Well ‘Dog has me beat by a long shot. No burger and onion rings for me, but I was treated to this nice sunset on the way back to base this evening.

Nothing but pollen-borne haze locally yesterday. Flew anyway. I need to really work on my power off 180s!
