Hot tub, adult beverage, steak on the grill.. watching the full moon....

Another day in paradise...:):)
 
Just got home after making 10 tandem skydives. Im beat and am sitting here sipping on a Fat Tire. Flying to get a $100 dollar omelet in the morning!

That must be fun with the hot chicks, but ... awkward with the dudes.
 
Wife is out of town. Watching football without being constantly interrupted so she can show me something she found on Pinterest. Boredom is treating me pretty well right now.
 
Watching the 2nd tier NASCAR race. Spent the day at Pt. Mugu watching a friends plane on static display. I can't believe how many parents let their kid climb on someone else's property. I was the a//hole who had to keep kids off to the wings.
 
Flew to a birthday party for a friend. Stopped to eat dinner between airport and home. Now watching my team come alive in the 2nd half after rolling over for the first half.

The day started with low dark clouds, just like yesterday, but cleared up into a beautiful evening.

A Fat Tire sure sounds good! ( . . . footsteps towards frig . . . )

Got in some pattern work today before watching my daughter's soccer game. Dinner with the fam then staying up late to get back onto my night shift sleep schedule (had the last week off to attend Reno...back to reality)...

All out of the malted variety adult beverage (meaning I'm guilty of the beverage acquisition equivalent of poor flight planning)...might have to mix up a margarita...
 
Went to the gun club range and kept "current" with the XD-S, and decided the Marlin Camp Carbine chambered in .45 ACP looked like it wanted to go along.

Then stopped on the way home and laid in provisions for football day tomorrow.

Watching why planes crash on the weather channel. Kids are sleeping and wife is working overnight.

Hey!!! It was my birthday party! So, that's what I did. My wife had a surprise birthday party for me at the airport. I am a happy, blessed man. Thanks for flying over Hank, it meant a lot.
 
I am now at home with my family having a Sailor Jerry's and Sprite......or two and watching the boys play poker. Life is good!

Sitting at work watching YouTube vids. Weather is crap here as well.
 
btw, been listening to a kick ass Guns N' Roses concert on VH1 Classic channel.
 
A large Makers Mark and a fried seafood platter,and some college football.

Pretty much the same here for today. Saturday I drove to Athens to watch the UGA game with my youngest son and my daughter. I had planned on flying and letting Thomas fly me home and take the 182 back to school, but the weather sucked! So, I drove 2 hours in the rain each way! :mad2: But, better than hand flying 30-40 minutes each way with 300 foot ceilings! :D
 
I had perfect flying weather yesterday afternoon, but I'm down medically from flying for the next few months.:(
 
I put my airplane in the paint shop Friday a week ago, so no flying for me for the next few weeks. We are working 6/10s at work for a month so I only have Sundays off for the next three weekends. I figured since I was going to be working so much and not have much time to fly it would be a good time for the paint job. The extra overtme money will come in handy to pay for the paint too. After work yesterday I watched a replay of the Georgia Bulldog game followed by the Georgia Southern game.
 
I'm so flippin bored I actually CLEANED, a room. the kitchen, it needed it. now I'm off to watch some football and maybe enjoy a scotch or three. still cr@ppy weather and no flying.

Went to a friends housewarming party last night - woke up early because I had to go flying but the weather was junk so I just stayed home.
 
Went to check out the Pope activities then did dinner and piano bar with friends.
