Did Cruz's amendment get passed and signed as part of the FAA bill this year? I found the article and amendment but can't figure out if it was included in the final bill.

I'm looking specifically for Cruz' amendment stating Congress, Fed Judges and others (and families) are excluded from TSA security checks at the airports.

The only FAA one I saw Cruz's name attached to never went anywhere once the House bill was adopted. Didn't see anything like you mention in that version of the bill but I wasn't looking for it either.
True but the amendment was attached to the FAA Reauthorization Bill. If you're curious, it's attached here.

It's rather amusing picturing him walking through Houston during the winter storm and then seeing the text of his amendment. I did a quick word search on the actual authorization and none of the main points are found in it, so I think it's safe to say it wasn't included.
