Rocket racing; a pseudo-event, or

I was there Dave, you didn't miss anything. Rocket Racing League didn't even fly. They have changed fuels from alcohol and LOX to kerosene and LOX cause the alky didn't make enough noise. Long story short the planes were not ready. They had one on display, however it was a traditional piston engine plane complete with exhaust pipe hanging out with the prop removed and some bogus little fake rocket exhaust put on where the prop was. I am afraid the whole idea will never fly. (pun intended)
