Wow, that's a good buy!

Don't get what he means by "electric vacuum backup" with that aspen I don't know why that plane has any vac instruments in it, I'd just ditch that vac backup AI and remove the vac pumps.

Buy avionics and engine, airframe included at no extra charge.

Isn't that the way it is for most every used airplanes now?

Except Bonanzas and Barons, of course. They are the other way around.

All that section would end up being is Bonanza Drivers saying get a Bonanza, Grumman owners saying get a Tiger, dogs with worms saying get a taildragger, Ted saying get a twin, garage builders saying get an RV, and the ones that want to spend other people's money saying get a Pilatus, regardless of what the question actually is.
That may be true for a forum section dedicated to this purpose. I am thinking about something more of a mission-oriented search. For example, I want a 150-knot plane, so I search for that and find plenty of choices that I can sort by VREF, useful load, fuel burn (maybe estimated at the speed I put in if they can go faster), range (same), number of seats, number of adults it can comfortably seat, etc. Or even just pros and cons that I can read subjectively. For example, "with full tanks, can only carry one passenger" or "CG envelope very narrow." But I would see all the planes that can comfortably cruise at that speed, whether they are fixed gear singles or complex, high-performance twins. Similarly, you could punch in a VREF range and get back all the planes that are generally worth that much (with 0-time engines and other equalizing factors applied). Or search by average maintenance costs per hour or per year. Many possibilities, all of which would lead this thread's OP back to his own airplane from the sounds of it or make me realize that I don't really need 150 knots that badly.
