Piper Colt hydrasorb removal

I need to replace the bungees on my Colt (pa-22-135). I have seen the videos about installing the bungees and can make a tool to do so, but I was looking for a good source on the best way to get the hydrosorbs off the plane... Anybody have a good reference they'd care to share?

Need to release pressure of the bungees to remove them.
When is the pressure consistently & completely off the gear?
Yep; when airborne.
Just sayin'.
(Right along the lines of Uncle Tim's excellent post today regarding running engine while lifting it.)

It's really easy. Remove the seats and the fairings at the top of the gear. Get the fuselage up on a good sawhorse, in front of the baggage door, supported on the longerons (careful of the stringers that hang down in the center). Remove hydrosorb bolts and yank them suckers out while someone wiggles the gear leg. Pull out the hydrosorb.

Heed the warnings about installing the bungees. The energy they can release if the tool fails is amazing.

Tyndall: what's the secret to the seat removal? I can't seem to fine the release to get it past the stop... Do I need an extra set of hands ?
