Phoenix-Atlanta - places to visit / fly over

Looks like I will be making a cross country from Phoenix to Atlanta and back around April/May this year in my FG Cardinal.

What are people’s suggestions for cool places to visit or fly over on such a route? Clearly this will take several days, so I should have time for a few stops.
