The military has been keeping Osprey activity very quiet in Iraq, to try and prevent some insurgent from splashing the crash of one all over CNN with an RPG. I they work out, but have profound reservations.

They look so cool,.. yet weird at the same time. I don't know where they are located or flown,.. but I do know someone who works for Boeing on the V-22 project 
Maybe he'll chime in on this thread and share some information. He frequents the POA boards often.
