Naco has their digital products (e.g. WACs) available for download as digital products in the TIF format. (http://aeronav.faa.gov/index.asp?xml=aeronav/applications/VFR/chartlist_wac) I'd like to load a few of these on my iPad2 for an upcoming trip to the Bahamas. None of the major iPad aviation applications support WACs natively, and don't quite cover the area in which we plan to be traveling. ForeFlight's new World coverage is "nice", but doesn't quite cut it for actually flying there. Staniel Cay (MYES), for example is just outside of their coverage area, and Cat Island (MYCB) isn't in there at all. The same is true for WingX Pro.
Be that as it may, I'm trying to figure out how to load a legible copy of the WAC on my iPad2 in TIFF or any other format. I tried PowerReader HD, and it was totally illegible. I tried GoodReader, and it was much better, but the text was still fuzzy, especially in complex airspace.
Has anyone else done something similar and have some tips or suggestions?
