I am trying to get this computer to open a folder as soon as I drag an item over top of it and hover there for a second.
Used to do that; no longer.
Looked in Folder Options but no findee.

If you click Folders on the Standard Button Bar so you have the split screen view when you drag the file over a folder in the left pane and hold it the folder opens and shows the sub folders in it is that what you mean?

I think Ray is right here, Dave... it only exhibits that auto-expand behavior for folders on the left-side folder view.
