Having a hard time keeping up on the most recent science flip-flopping (see what I did there?); has the tide turned (see what I did there?) on fish oil supplementation?
Helps or doesnt... cardiac disease prevention? osteoarthritis? Shinier coats?

Without getting into the weeds of efficacy/usefulness, I’ll just offer a non-fish alternative source of Omegas: I take the brand Ovega-3...500mg Omega-3s, >80% DHA & EPA, with no fishy aftertaste

It depends on the total package, healthy lifestyle, eating, exercise. If you do all that, the fish oil will ‘help’.

Look at the spokesperson for supplements or the exercise bike, they ‘look’ the part. I guess we want to be in the same shape even though those silly elastic straps are useless.

We make our own from the salmon we raise in our backyard pond. We just run'em through a mop bucket wringer when we run low low on oil.

I just run diesel grade 15w-40 in my fish & don't bother with the supplements. They are snake oil, which requires a whole 'nother thread.
