I am logged into YT with iphone
YT is not offered as an option under the ‘send to’ icon like in the past.
Since ios 12?

I'm on 11.4 and I do have the option. do you have the youtube app? not sure if that's it or not.

I forgot to mention, I am logged onto the app - on the same device.

I am offered:
message/mail/add to notes/FB/messenger/whatsapp/more
save to files/slideshow/add to album/hide/duplicate/more

It is not under either 'more'

1. Click on the icon of "Photos" on iPhone screen and then go to Camera Roll> Videos folder.

2. Select the videos that you want to upload and tap on the "Share" button at the left corner. Then click on "Next".

3. After that, a small box will pop up from the bottom with different options, such as YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, etc. Just elect "YouTube" to share your videos.
