This is Oliver, our furry dumb-a** - when he was a young pup.
A pure-bred mutt. When people ask for his breed, I usually say: "half blue-tick coonhound, half border collie, half lab ...". Only a few mentioned so far that it's too many halves. Those people actually listened. And yes, he has 3 halves, cuz he's a big dog. (he's 80lbs now)

Gordo here is being raised & trained by inmates @ a local prison to serve as Assistance dog for Wounded Vets. Some dogs go into Explosives detection for LE and .mil. Some are deployed with Armed forces Chaplains in conflict zones.

I volunteer 2x or more month and take out a different pup each time to help socialize them to sights smells and experiences outside the wire. Until my situation meshes with having my own dog, this works for me....
