I have a semi permanent set of blue rope lights lining the inside edge of my rear deck ceiling. I then hang the Christmas lights from the same mounting hooks. This way I can have either or both depending on which ones I plug in.That sounds like more work than stringing up new lights.

And you didn't shoot them? Wow!The lights are mostly gone but there are some holdouts. To each their own I guess. One of the houses a couple blocks down even had Christmas music blaring outside for the week before Christmas.
