I can not view certain Flash videos on some news sites eg Foxnews.
I am told it is probably Adblock.
I cannot find any controls for Adblock and in Programs, it is not even listed by that name. In Add/Rem programs, not there either.
Thanks

Seamonkey browser
WinXP
current Adobe Flash

I highly doubt you even have Adblock installed, I mean when was the last Seamonkey release? 2004? And where would you even find a Seamonkey-compatible Adblock? How would you install it - I bet it requires manually editing Chrome files.

In any case it's not going to be visible in add/remove programs thing, since it's internal to the browser. Type about:addons into the address bar, see if it's there.

Most likely it's just a screwy browser. Get Firefox.

Thats OK, I found it.
However disabling it did not fix the vid viewing problem.
I think Seamonkey is more current than 2004;

Like I said, most likely the Javascript engine in Seamonkey is not up to snuff or DOM is just too different from browsers targeted by the site.

P.S. Didn't know people still maintained that ancient codebase. Well, more power to them, I gues.

Adblock doesn't affect(AFAIK) Flash unless you specifically block it.

I had the same problem in both Seamonkey and Firefox. The cure for me was to right click on the video and go to Global Settings(Adobe Flash page)and change the Privacy setting to allow Third Party cookies. Everything seemed to werk OK after that.

Seamonkey had a recent update(2.0.14) as did Firefox(4.0.1).

Hope this helps.
