MT prop repar

Have a composite mt prop. Have a few chips on the blade,want to do self repair with epoxy touch up. Any advise.

Well not sure what MT recommends but my Catto just requires an epoxy flox fill. Catto even says JB Weld is fine. Just have to contact the manufacture and see what they specify is an approved procedure.

Mask off the rest of the prop and spinner. Seriously making a mess with the stuff is one stumble away. 1 minute of prep work with tape and newspaper can save a bunch of cleanup.

If the manual for the prop does not specify a material, this kit will have eveything you need.

Please please please adhere to manufacturer recommendation...really easy to booger this stuff up (not only making a mess, but catastrophic failure). But yes, it will likely be some manner of simple epoxy repair.

Yep, fills in nice and sands off smooth. Catto told me that as long as the gouge doesn't penetrate to the wood, epoxy flox combo or JB Weld will do. As they say on pushers, it's not will something go thru your prop, it's just a matter of when.
