Minnesotans forced to drink good beer

I haven't had Double Bastard yet, but I had Arrogant Bastard on tap in San Diego, and we have it in bottles here.

Awesome, Grant. Also you are famous. I was listening to a Pilot Cast yesterday, and they were talking about you. Old podcast with a guest speaker who was a CFI talking about getting the fun back in flight training. Then either Kent or Bill said they have had Grant (you) on as a guest too.

Just so odd to post with you here and then hear about you in my headset.

Leslie and I were on with the original Pilotcast crew a couple of years back. She and I met Greg Brown in Long Beach last year, and he apparently though it was prestigious to drop our names.:dunno: funny thing is, we were talking with Kent after that, and he didn't even remember us coming up in conversation!

By the way, you've noticed that a lot of the other posters here have also been either guests or have their own shows, right?

OK - thanks! Can't wait.

I wasn't going to check any bags on my way from CA so that I would only have a carry on and I don't know if beer would make it to 6Y9 via three different airplanes or simply break or explode or get taken by TSA. You'll just have to wonder about CA wines and beer. Or should I say fantasize about. We have a lot to offer, beer wise, here and I would have loved to share it with all of you at the fly in.
ARRGH!!! All day I've been thinking "I forgot something for OSH".

What posters have their own shows? Why is everyone so famous?

OK OK I was wrong, I do like ROOT BEER. I no longer drink but when i did(and i did a lot) beer was the last resort. I thought beer(alcoholic) was for people who couldn't hold their hard liquor. Dave P.S. you cannot own beer, you only rent it. DR

Well, I could list them, but I KNOW I'd miss a bunch. The PilotCast (and its spinoff, the CFICast) had a bunch of people from here as hosts, including Pilot Kent, Pilot Mike, CFI Tony, AME/CFI Dr. Bruce Chien, and others. Some of the other shows have started showing up here, bringing people like Nate Duehr (Mile High Flyers), CFI Stew Stoll (Pilot's Flight PodLog), and Inverted (InvertedCast).

We didn't say anything about being famous, you did! :) OTOH, Kent tells a story about how an ATC controller recognized his voice one day while flying in Iowa, so maybe he is famous. Plus, Sully had his picture taken with Kent, so it must be true! :yikes:
