He moved from Boston to 6000+ MSL. Try again?
You said promptly. He must have moved FAST. I guess you had those carbs tuned up pretty good on that bike after all.

He bought the bike to take with him. I shipped it. So what? Carbs take adjustment.
As I recall, it was at least 5 miles each way, 2’ or more of snow and at least 30 below zero . For me, some of it was true since we live 55 miles NW of Fairbanks and it would frequently be 40-50 below zero. We did have to go out to recess until 20 below! My son and his wife teach in Kotzabue and the kids still walk to school (no school bus system) despite the temperature or snow accumulation.
Sounds like you know how to adjust a carburetor. Thumbs up. If I get you a participation award will you let me off the hook? [I was only busting your chops the first time, the second time, and this time, too.]
Dad was never able to get the fish to jump directly out of the water and into the pan. He had to catch it first. Trout aren't quite as stupid as a chicken.Oh yeah? Well I had a chicken stand on my stove and lay an egg directly in a hot frying pan...
