Michael Jackson, now? Always in threes!

That's one LONG story!!!

We saw Bell 15 years ago performing at Lincoln Center (Avery Fisher Hall for the Mostly Mozart festival)

He was 14 or 15?

He was amazing -- Sascha Heifetz level (whom I'd only heard in recordings)

and Gene won a Pulitzer for it, too.

OK, for those with a short attention span ;) the story shows what happens when you have a world-class virtuoso play beautiful music on the violin (and not any old violin - I believe it was a Stradivarius) outside a subway exit for about 45 minutes. Long and short, not much.

I think 12 hours is long enough:

I think children around the world have now earned the ability to relax a little bit more now.

So - we're trying to have fun making fun of MJ today at work. Anyone remember the video where he goes nuts in the streets? I thought it was Black or White, but I was wrong.

They give Pulitzer's for novels? ;)

It was a good article...

John Wayne.

John Wayne was gay. I was at his pad in Brentwood one day, installing two-way mirrors. He came to the door in a dress.

5:30pm CDT was when I hit my limit of MJ platitudes of greatness. Sure some of his songs were interesting, sure he was a talented entertainer, OHMYGAWD is the world going nuts for him. Glad I do not turn on TV news very often so I can easily avoid what is likely to be a month of nonsense.

Think it's bad where you are? I'm in Los Angeles. Sorta reminds me of being in London right after Diana went down. OMG, wall to wall on the local stations. Glad I'm headed out in a few minutes (as I type this from the Admiral's Club). TV is now blaring that the autopsy will begin "in a few short minutes". Heck, let's just do it on the tube! Reality TV at it's best!

Here's the weird part (do I qualify as grim reaper?): On Wed night I was about to turn in for the night and flipped through the channels. I ended up watching - to the end - the movie on HBO, which was.... Jim Morrison and the Doors (the one with Val Kilmer)..... Next day, we lose Farrah and MJ.

Before his untimely death, there was always a good way to tell when it was bedtime at the Neverland Ranch: It was always when the big hand touched the little hand.

Since he is 90% plastic, Jackson's last wishes are to be melted down and made into Legos so children will continue to play with him.

When Farrah died she went to Heaven and was asked by St Peter if she had any wishes he could fulfill. Farrah though about it for a minute and said, "All I want is for all the children of the Earth to be safe.......

LOL!!!:blowingkisses:

Ok..that's sick, but hilarious! Glad I wasn't drinking something when I read that.

All of Michael Jackson's London dates for this summer have been cancelled. For the record they were James (age 11), Richard (age 10), and Zack (age 9)

Yea, the latest going around is the autopsy showed he died of food poisoning. They found an eight-year-old weenie and some 12-year-old nuts.

Best,

Dave

Why did MJ like 28 yearolds?

Because there were 20 of them...

His last words were reported to be: "Take me to Children's Hospital!"

So how exactly did the Beatles handle fame poorly?

As a tribute McDonalds are going to create the McJackson burger; 50 year old meat between 10 year old buns.

Jockeys at tomorrows race meeting will be wearing black armbands in respect for Michael Jackson who successfully rode more 3 year olds than anyone in living history

You can't. Even though the red board and I think the purple have that feature, and it has been asked for here before it has yet to be implemented on PoA. I don't know why though, it can be a handy feature.
There must be a conspiracy......Something *must* be going on if the other boards have it and we don't.

..or..It's because I'm coding up a storm for $$$ and haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

The more stuff you add, the more difficult it becomes to keep the system up-to-date and secure as well. Security and stability before features.

No offense was intended Jesse. It was asked for long before you had taken over the admin of the site and nothing is ever heard back on if it is even on the list to be implemented. There have just been several requests to add it with no response.

Are you letting us know that it is on your list now? That would be cool if it was.

Ok. Well. Lets just do it this way. There is nothing to hide. This is the stuff that I can think of that I'm working on.

Drugs: Open use of drugs and advocating use to others.
Religion: Lennon opined that Christianity is dying and the Beatles are more popular than Jesus.
Insensitivity: Album cover featured band in bloody overalls with mutilated dolls.
Discord: The band fell into dissent and split. McCartney now disputes Lennon's claim to authorship of many of their songs.
None of the above is meant to belittle the accomplishments of the Beatles. Simply examples of handling fame poorly.
