Man builds airplane in bedroom

12 years of fiberglass dust and fumes in the house. Get itchy just thinking about it. Although I must confess to building a wooden rowboat in the kitchen.

I red the title of the thread and thought of out mad hotelier in Port A.

"Oh, you're the house with the airplane in it!" laughs Andy's wife Theresa. "Yup!"

Wife?! Whoa didn't see that one coming. She's a lot more tolerant than my wife.

I was sure it was mistitled and should have read Unmarried/Divorced Man builds....

My thought exactly. No way my wife would go for that. So he's a lucky dude in that regard.

The photo with the wing out the window is priceless. That's worth a Lindy right there.

Good article.

I guess I am a little different, but I look at the 12 years it took to build it. That's a large part of your life to spend every night and weekend sanding fiberglass. Velocities don't cost that much, buy one IMO.

I built all if the parts of a Zenith 601 in a 11 x 15 room. All right, I had to open the door to the laundry to let the tail poke through.

Gotta admit, that's pretty awesome! What a pretty airplane too.
