Pre-takeoff checklist
I posted on here looking for a ride two months ago and on the airventure rideshare with no reponses. I have now already bought my plane tickets I would have loved to do this. Maybe next year? I am in the Houston area(would have drove closer and met in the middle)

FWIW, The Airventure website has a 'ride share' board. One can ask for a ride or offer one, plane or drive. I actually contacted a few a year or 2 ago. Airventure didn't work out, but we did go flying a handful of times.

I took a guy from the ride share board once. Don't think I'll do it again though. It turned out just fine, I just realized my expenses were so low I could easily afford to go by myself and if I did could bring more stuff.
You might want to tell us where you want to start from?
