How is that 182 gonna keep up with the Mooney?

Or even better, how is the Mooney driver gonna throttle back the whole way?

That, my good man, is a great question. He will fly with his speed brakes extended or our carry-ons strapped to his wings. A third option (perhaps my favorite) is for him to tow my R182 behind him. We are both glider pilots as well so this really should be no different than towing a 2-33.

I didn’t think a sport pilot was allowed in a plane after nap time. That would certainly slow our progress.

I was going to enter a private carriage contract whereby this mythical pilot flies occasionally but pays 1/3 the bill.
