I forget, are you a regular or Super Hornet guy?
You ever flown with a guy with the c/s POTY?
I prefer the term "Legendary Hornet", but yeah, legacy F/A-18C's. That c/s does not ring a bell however.

Exactly.
And many call signs tend to come as a result of something bad or at least humorous that you did. I guarantee the guy with the c/s 'BRINA' did NOT select his own.
Isn't Kimberly Clark a brand of toilet paper?
What exactly are you trying to say?
I can't use a$$wipe since children will be on my site (student pilots).
Upon notification (warning?) of the brand new 2nd Lieutenant (me) heading their way, one of the Captains was trying to figure out how to pronounce my name. Being a Barney Miller fan, he felt there was only ONE possible handle.Indeed. But perhaps to be fair those of us who were hung with call signs should relate their backstory.

So there we were, sitting in the ready room debriefing a series of maneuvers done during APT and one of the instructors says. . .
"Take Farrell there- he has more excuses than there are names in the New york phone book, but once he gets it he does it right. .. . "
Blimpie.
Yup -- your squadron-mates must pick it. You get no input and definitely no power of disapproval. So...
...what do we think Kimberly's tactical call sign should be?
Fingers? Because she types so fast she has 6900 posts! Jeez, that's a lot of posts I just realized
Good year, I get. Ghost, I do not.
Remember all of those 'kimberly does not exist' posts?
No, no... You have to let US pick one for you. That's the way it works!
Oski.
I think Kim will understand this. I'm not sure about others.
Hello....Kitty....
+1
I am MORE than flattered you remembered.
very clever.
I say winner.
The reason I remembered Kim's story is that I also come from a CAL family, at least on my mom's side. My mom, my uncle, some of my cousins, second cousins and myself are all alumni.
Best of all, I learned to fly at the Cal Flying Club.
