This is not per PIC hour, but per hour overall. I can't even really explain the reason for the curve. Probably partially because I started soaring.

As far as ratio to hours, probably above 2. Most times I fly, I will make sure I renew currency.

This is true. Time permitting, I always do 3 landings on any given solo flight just in case I'm forced to take a break and on the 91st day I need to take a passenger. Also, the third one is always a power off 180, traffic permitting.

I suppose if I didn't do that then I'd be below the 1.8 I'm at now.
