Yep that's it, sorry brain not working
"Rule-compliant" ... so not certified... and announced mere days after the FAA allowed them... interesting... wonder who's related to whom at both "companies"... LOL...
But it's a transponder, traffic display, ads-b in and out. Seems like a reasonable, even cheap, price for everything that's included.Only $6800 plus install cost. Practically free...

From Aircraft Spruce website:
No, the KT 74 does not have a WAAS GPS as it is only a transponder. You will need to wire the KT 74 to a WAAS certified GPS to be ADS-B out compliant.
But then, it IS certified. And a WAAS-capable GNS430 can be found on eBay fairly easily.
A lesson for anyone shopping for ADS-B...make sure the package contains *everything*, or you know what else you need to add. Antennas for these things are a bit pricy, and some packages don't include them. From Aircraft Spruce website:
The KT 74 requires a certified WAAS GPS antenna. The unit must therefore contain a GPS receiver. Is this correct?

and then you'd have a flyable GPS....vs that lil postage stamp looking thingy.
