Not based there but I fly into there a lot. Never a pleasant experience. SGJ has the rudest tower controllers I've ever dealt with.

snorting ALL across the USA. I don't discriminate. except newark nj. wouldn't even consider snorting there.

When I fly to the Jax area, St Aug is where I like to stop. Never had an issue with the controllers there. The main FBO is pretty good. I've had them move my plane under cover for no extra charge. Rates are reasonable. SS gas is downright reasonable as well. Quite often you can get crew rate with Hertz. They have a counter right there.

Agreed, when I flew in there they were great.

Cheap gas and never an issue with the controllers. Self serve pump is right at the base of the tower.
