You have to say, “I don’t know” and then bang it on the floor.Hey, as long as it is inert! The problem comes with ones that are ert.
I used to have an artillery shell in my office (I worked for the Army). People would ask if it was inert. I'd pick it up and bang the point on the floor when they asked (it was really an armor piercing round and was nothing more than a very heavy hung of metal).
Just last week the TSA found my pocket knife that had been missing for over 2 months. Never thought to look in my back pack. Lol.
What does pants have to do with it?How often do you wash your pants
Wow... I read "back pocket" not "back pack" LOL... getting old SUX!What does pants have to do with it?
A very reasonable mistake...remember, change is bad. That’s why I’ve been wearing the same pair of underwear for 15 years.Wow... I read "back pocket" not "back pack" LOL... getting old SUX!
my apologies to @gdwindowpane for insinuating you wear dirty pants...LOL

Do something funny with the liquids and food they confiscate too.
Some European airports have you go through security in both directions. Going to Poland once, I changed planes. The route back home was the reverse, including the path through the airport. Went through security the other direction.I was changing planes in Inchon, Korea and walking between gates I bought a bottle of water. My thought was I was on the secure side so I would be able to take it with me. Nope, another check point before entering the plane. Sorry, you can't take anything over 3 ounces. Please place the bottle here. I am sure someone wanted it so I opened it and drank it all standing there, then replaced the cap and placed the now empty bottle where I was directed to place it earlier. As I passed through the door into the walkway, I turned and saw someone take it and toss the bottle into the gate agents trash can.
You should have looked closely to see if the person that retrieved the bottle was the same person that sold it to you.I bought a bottle of water.
