Initial supplies help

No, it's not an exaggeration at all. I went to your user profile, and looked up every thread you started that had something to do with the Cirrus. There was 17 of them. And that didn't include the financing thread, or another thread or two that were tenuously related.

I will say this. At least you finally bought your plane so you won't call up a seller who has all of the equipment listed on the ad he placed, ask him an hour's worth of questions, and only after wasting an hour of his time do you finally ask "Oh, does it have an autopilot? Because an autopilot is my #1 go/no go item on the plane." No it doesn't have an autopilot. If it had a ****ing autopilot, it would have been listed!

You want suggestion for an initial supply?

Though you may need to get an STC to wear it while flying your Cirrus.

I know, call an A&P, ask him an hours worth of questions that have nothing to do with obtaining said STC, and then bring it up.

Ahhhhhh......So this is what your grudge is about. Maybe we should enlighten the rest of the board.

When I started looking at planes you tried to shove a lack of autopilot in yours down my throat. Bottom line I didn't want your plane because it didn't have what I really wanted, namely an autopilot. You got ticked because you said I wasted your time inquiring about your plane, when I decided I wasn't interested. Well I bought one. And it wasn't yours. Maybe if you want to sell a plane you need to answer questions and not be a jerk about it. I field questions from potential clients. Some don't come to me. C'est la vis . That's life. Grow up. So you hold a grudge for 2 years and contribute absolutely nothing to my discussions, but rather you are somewhat condescending because I didn't give you what you want. Fine. Now I see why you were being a jerk. I don't need you or your opinions. I see how mature your reaction is, in words and in pictures. Maybe you should where the hat and you wouldn't need an STC since you were certified to wear the hat from the get go. You have made comments on several threads without adding anything of value. Again, if you can't add anything of value, please do not respond to my threads. And I'm glad you have nothing better to do than go to my profile. I went to my profile and counted 8. I may have 17 on cirrus but they weren't all about this purchase. I broke it down into segments because I thought it would be easier to document questions. How many did you have on the sale of your plane? How many did you have on your fly in? Or Comanches over the years? You would have to tell me because I don't want to waste my time stalking you. Thank you.

How can I possibly shove an autopilot down your throat when YOU call ME, talk to me for an HOUR, and THEN you finally ask about it and after I say no the conversation wraps up after that in under a minute? You might want to review what actually happened during that call before making **** up.

If an autopilot is what you really wanted, why wasn't that the first question you ask? There were three or four others here who asked about my plane that had the A/P requirement. You know when they asked that question? Within the first 2 minutes. You know what I said, hey no problem. They didn't waste my time being an idiot.

Hey, if you want to find out about Comanches because I have one or Cherokees because I had one, I'm fine with answering questions for anyone under that premise. Just say so from the beginning. I've done so for other people from here over the phone and in person. Did you do that? No. Why? I have no clue, but I can only figure you'd be the same person who would book a trip to Mongolia and then ask if you have an ocean view.

But when you call me and tie up an hour of my time feigning interest in my plane which clearly does NOT list an autopilot in the equipment list, and you never once mention anything about it until an hour into the conversation...well, that's just being a dumb-ass, and the cap definitely fits you.

We must have different recollections then. Kept asking about the autopilot and you FINALLY answered the question. And yes, I was interested up to that point when you finally confessed it didn't have one. In that conversation I heard how real pilots don't need autopilots, or how you would use a porta john on your trips because of the range. TMI dude. And I got quotes to see how much it would cost to get an autopilot installed in your plane. I joined the ICS because I was interested and wanted to learn more. I am so sorry you think I wasted your time. I was new at researching airplanes then. So thank you for admitting that this is why you are being a jerk and have been to me for two years. So do everyone a favor. Just ignore me and my posts. So when it comes to being an idiot, you need to look in a mirror. You will see the true idiot.

No, you didn't. You may think you did, but it wasn't until an hour into the conversation. Your questions were all over the place, and I remember looking at the timer on the phone when you FINALLY asked if there was an autopilot, and you said that was a requirement. I actually made a phone call immediately after I hung up and vented because I was blown away that someone would wait an hour before asking about their #1 purchase requirement. Well #2, #1 would be that it was an airplane.

He said she said. Whatever. Watch your blood pressure. Not good for the health to let things fester. Bottom line is if you thought I was wasting your time you always COULD have ended the call earlier. But, I was truly interested. Glad I didn't make an offer, seeing what your true colors are. Now go get a life.

I have not been monitoring this thread except for the last ten posts or so.

PLEASE GO AWAY. YOu are an @$$#le and don't deserve answers. Next time you go to buy an airplane, go to BOZOS.IDIOTS. BUYING AIRPLANES.COM for your information

You are wasting EVERYBODY'S time here. Just go away. Please. We've got serious work to do with reasonable people.

And you can ignore my posts as well. You have contributed nothing to this thread. Go hang out with Ed and figure out ways to bash me. I don't care.

WTF, dude. Is this the spirit of POA? You choose to pile on the OP because Ed is ****ed about a phone call two years ago? Pathetic.

Not all of us own planes. Some of us hope to own one in the future, and it's threads like this in which we learn things we may wish to know. Don't like it? Don't read it.

Wow. Just. Wow.

I may be the only one here besides Leslie who knows Ed, Art, Mari, Stan and Jim in person. You're all good people. Some of you (and I am not specifying who!) need to take a chill pill! I like you all in person, but this thread is just. Wow!

Mari, I forgot you were now PoA Management. Congrats!

Art, congrats on the (impending) plane ownership! I am sure that you have a LOT of questions. Clearly, you and Ed have different recollections of the conversation about the Comanche. That can happen. You should both consider what you may have been able to do better to make your main points clear, or clearly memorable, as the case may be.
BTW, are you the recent Cirrus purchase that Mark was referring to on SimpleFlight Radio?

Jim, cut Art some slack. You've been around this a long time. He's new to ownership and may come on a little strong at times. I'm sure I've been like that at times, so I try to forgive rather than flame.

Now I prepare for the flames sent my way. So be it! I just want everyone to be at least civil to one another.
