I Just Did the Unthinkable...

Back in the day in Alaska, I sometimes navigated by NDB, followed with a NDB approach.

I even flew to a few off airport locations that the only directions I had were written on a piece of paper....

I always enjoyed NDB approaches. No auto pilot, “push the head, pull the tail.” Split the difference between the needle wiggling back and forth and you’ll end up in a fairly accurate position.
