11 for me.

Wow, lessee...I can think of around 40 and I'm sure theres a few I forget at the moment. I did a lot of ferry flights for a shop.

Richard said:

Lame, at 6, but only 165 hrs.

Include anything that flies.

OK, add Rossignol, K2, Olin...the takeoffs and flight were fine, but most of the landings weren't...*oof*

Lets see...

Cessna 152, Cessna 172, Piper Cherokee 180, Cherokee Archer, Piper 140, Citabra

I got 6, unless you count the 180 & the archer as the same as the 180 developed into the archer...

Missa

Hmmm...construction paper, copier paper, yellow legal pad, balsa wood, wood-and-plastic-and string, oh, and there was that 23 inch long F-16 complete with jet intakes and Sidewinders I made from watercolor paper, it flew like a dream...uh...let's see here, oh! hot-air balloons but the balloons melted before they got very high or the wind kept blowing the candles out. And there were some cool Peter Max ones back when I was in grade school from a book, flew like crap but looked pretty.

Huh? You mean REAL ones where I was in the left seat? :) 172, 150, and a Cherokee a long, long time ago. (I'm a struggling student, ok?)

terry (yes, I am a smarta$$)

uhhh.....
only 4
C-182, BE36TC, pa28-140, and a Nanchung CJ6

Several others I can't think of at the moment. Plus a whole bunch of assorted planes when I was a kid and didn't know or bother with figuring out what I was climbing into as long as it left the ground.

I had a student whose father had one of those Riley 337s when he was growing up....he said it was absolutly a Rocket! He said he had many fond memories riding in it.

Hmmm... Enough to want more airplanes than I'll ever be able to afford. :D Thanks to some of the folks here for letting me fly theirs!

Left seat:
Cessna 172 (N&SP), 182N
Piper Warrior, Archer, Arrow, Dakota
Cirrus SR22
Diamond DA40
Ed's Mooney M20J
Bruce's Seneca

Right seat only:
Lance's B55 Baron
King Air 200 (Well, I didn't do any of the flying on this one, but cool to get free right-seat time in a turbine anyway.)

Include anything that flies.

Whoops. I guess I'll have to add Honda Accord, several types of downhill skis, my old dirt bike, and probably others. It seems since I've become a pilot that my fascination with making other things fly has dwindled somewhat. :D

Thank you. Of course, it was only when you mentioned it that I remembered the model #. Struck me like a bell it did.

Let's see....

C-150
C-152
C-172
C-172SP
C-177RG
Super Decathlon (once, 0.8 hours or something)
Pitts S2C (once, 0.6 hours or something)

I think that's it. Not too much yet.

While I can see a POV to that with the PA 28 series, although they make decent transportation and are safe and reasonably economical, just not very spirited or high utility (while the 235/Dakota will haul a good load, it is restrained in space and loadability). However when you say "New Piper" included in that period of planes, you are missing on many worthy planes. One of the most worth utility planes I've ever operated is the PA 32 300.
The Cherokee 6 300 is a great plane and can make money, even if it's just "Mile High" rides run under pt 91, it can make a living. If you follow in the family pattern and make a living as a utility pilot, try and scam up a few hours and a checkout in one so you have a feel for it if you ever go for an interview for a job with one. It also is the same basic airplane as the Seneca series, again, a very worthy seat. It is capable of single pilot IFR operations under pt 135 and many are K-Ice as well as having the same cargo door arraingement which can easily load a bulky and reasonably heavy load, I've hauled aircraft engines and props in the back.

We won't start in on the Navajo series, probably be a while before you get a seat in one.
