Hosting my first fly-in

This was a really fun day!

Flying Midwest Podcast contacted me for ideas about where to do a fly-in and I ended up not just providing ideas, but actually hosting it at my base in Lone Rock, WI. It was a fun time and I'm looking forward to what 2025 will bring.

For the fly-in. At our EAA chapter we apply for fly-in and fly-out insurance, covers us in case someone has a mishap and the lawyers name every party involved in the lawsuit.

Our airpark hosts an annual fly-in. We get a one-day event insurance policy which separates our normal insurance from the event.
