Yeah, and what a weird flight regime to break up in. Unlikely he can point to anything but a mistake in building for that one. Wouldn't think there would be enough flight induced stress to break structural materials.
Looks like he over stressed the vertical stabilizer it broke when he went full deflection on the rudder.

Looks like he was trying to do a photo pass for the crowd. Only thing I can think of is a stress fracture in the joint that let loose. I would want to think that, at this scale, the guy building it had good experience and building methods.
I wonder what powers the jet. I'm leaning towards a small used APU unit out of some small jet or helicopter.
I see the vstab come away at 1:49 but what the heck happens after that? Not just a violent CFT (come from together) which is surprising in itself, but an instantaneous CFT! (I would have expected a flip over and nosedive with the most of the ship still intact.
Would have been cool if the emergency vehicles were radio controlled scale models responding to the crash.
I wonder if the engine blew up.
