Same! You can have all the flame you want Chris, looking forward to meeting you.
Seeing as it didn't even make it out of the 30s here today, I'd say 65ish sounds positively tropical, or at least Mediterranean. Freezing level somewhere north of 6000 feet, according to the ADDS forecast. Meaning: even if the lower clouds make it a little further north than expected, there shouldn't be any worries about icing. We have some turkey (or chicken?), spinach and feta burgers in the freezer we can bring, along with some buns. Weather is looking cool (65ish) and partly sunny. Don't know if we'll do the museum yet.
Looks like you'd have had a great tailwind coming back right about now.I was in Muncie today getting the electric trim repaired/replaced and had a heck of a roller coaster ride home at about noon. Winds at MIE were 240 at 14 gusting to 24, yeee haw
No museum for me.

We have 21 to 22 planning to come as of this evening and by my count up to 8 aircraft.
What did you do to it Tim??I learned in the 150's and 152's as did most. They are every bit an airplane. As a matter of fact the aircraft I soloed in and took my primary flight review in is sitting at MGY. Unfortunately it is unflyable.
I'm not sure yet but I'll probably just enjoy the charcoal smell.
Hopefully your engine is healthy.
Landing Distance Available. 5000' runway. 590' displaced threshold on Rwy 20. Close enough for government work!Okay I was just checking NOTAMs for KMGY and noticed "RWY 20 LDA 4414". What the heck does that mean? I mean, I think I know what an LDA is but last I checked there wasn't one at MGY. And 4414 doesn't seem to make sense in that context. So obviously I'm missing something.

Oh wait, it just hit me. It has to be Landing Distance Available, 4414 feet. Still I've never seen that abbreviation used in a NOTAM. I even tried to look it up in the FAA's list of NOTAM cintractions, and all they had was the approach. Must be nonstandard or something.
edit: whoops! Grant beat me to it.
Shot some T&G this afternoon and everything looked fine to me. No clue what the NOTAM means. Checked the FAA web site and it is clueless as well since I get an error message when I try and display it.
Cheers
What were you flying?
